Game mechanics

Matching symbols pay once 4 or more of them touch in a cluster, with no paylines involved. Each winning cluster is removed in an Avalanche, new symbols drop into the gaps, and another win can follow from the same spin. Every winning symbol also charges the Portal Meter, the route into the Damnation Bonus Round.

Ordinary wilds carry multipliers of x2 to x5 in the base game and x2 to x10 in the bonus. Book Wilds substitute as well, and when one is part of a win it opens a Portal that applies a random modifier to the grid.

Features

• Book Wilds & Portal Modifiers. Any Book Wild used in a win opens a Portal, and the Portal releases a random modifier across the grid.
• All-Seeing Eye. Triggered at random, the Eye adds extra Book Wilds to the grid, giving a stalled cascade a push.
• Damnation Bonus Round. Reached through the Portal Meter, this round guarantees between 3 and 7 Portal modifiers and lifts wild multipliers as high as x10.
• Yog-Sothoth Roaming Wild. A 2x2 wild that roams the grid and can carry a multiplier of up to x4 during the bonus.

Why Rich Wilde and the Tome of Insanity has five RTP settings

Play'n GO's own game data for Rich Wilde and the Tome of Insanity lists five RTP versions: 84.2%, 87.2%, 91.2%, 94.2% and 96.2%. Each version keeps the name and artwork, with the maths tuned to a different long-run return. The casino picks which one it runs, within any minimum its regulator sets. Studios say they offer several because markets differ: minimums vary between regulators, and casinos weigh taxes, margins and commercial terms. A higher setting does not guarantee a profit, and a short session can finish up or down either way. This demo uses virtual credits: nothing is deposited, withdrawn or paid out, so the setting has no financial effect.

How to play the free demo

1. Clusters, not lines, decide every win in the Rich Wilde and the Tome of Insanity demo: look for 4 or more matching symbols touching on the 5x5 grid and follow each Avalanche as the winners clear.
2. Check the multiplier each ordinary wild brings, from x2 to x5 in the base game.
3. Note when a Book Wild joins a win: it opens a Portal, and the random modifier that comes out can reshape the grid before the next drop.
4. Track the Portal Meter as winning symbols charge it, since that is how the Damnation Bonus Round and its 3 to 7 guaranteed Portal modifiers arrive.

Why try the Rich Wilde and the Tome of Insanity demo
