Reactoonz is a cluster-pays slot from Play'n GO, filled with one-eyed aliens on a 7x7 grid where five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically form a win. Winning clusters cascade away and charge the Quantum Leap meter, which builds towards the Gargantoon, a giant wild.

Game mechanics

Wins on the 7x7 grid come from clusters of five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically. Each winning cluster is removed and new symbols drop in, so one spin can chain several wins.

Two random features can change the grid. With Fluctuation, a one-eyed symbol is marked at random and leaves wilds behind when it is part of a winning cluster; with Instability, the Gargantoon can add wilds to the grid on a spin that wins nothing. Then there are the Giantoonz: four matching symbols in a 2x2 square fuse into one giant symbol that doubles the win.

Collecting winning symbols charges the Quantum Leap meter, and each full charge releases one of the five Quantum features.

Features

  • Quantum Leap. Every symbol in a winning cluster charges the Quantum Leap meter; each full charge unlocks one of five Quantum features on the same spin sequence.
  • Implosion. Turns 3 to 6 symbols into wilds and destroys all adjacent symbols for a fresh cascade.
  • Demolition. Removes all matching symbols of one type plus the one-eyed symbols from the grid.
  • Incision. Cuts two diagonal lines through the grid and places a wild at the centre, forcing matching symbols along the lines.
  • Alteration. Picks a low-paying symbol type and transforms every one of them into another symbol.
  • Gargantoon. The big alien himself lands as a 3x3 wild, then splits into two 2x2 wilds and finally nine 1x1 wilds across successive cascades.

Why Reactoonz has five RTP settings

Play'n GO's own game data for Reactoonz lists five RTP versions: 84.51%, 87.5%, 91.49%, 94.51% and 96.51%. Each version keeps the name and artwork, with the maths tuned to a different long-run return. The casino picks which one it runs, within any minimum its regulator sets. Studios say they offer several because markets differ: minimums vary between regulators, and casinos weigh taxes, margins and commercial terms. A higher setting does not guarantee a profit, and a short session can finish up or down either way. This demo uses virtual credits: nothing is deposited, withdrawn or paid out, so the setting has no financial effect.

How to play the free demo

  1. Every spin of the Reactoonz demo can chain: clusters of five or more aliens pay, vanish and make room for new symbols.
  2. Look out for a marked one-eyed symbol: if it lands in a winning cluster, it leaves wilds behind.
  3. Watch the Quantum Leap meter fill with every winning symbol; its charges release the Quantum features on the way to the Gargantoon.

Why try the Reactoonz demo

Reactoonz has several things happening at once: cascades, two random wild features and a meter that unlocks five Quantum features. A longer session in the demo is the way to catch each of them, the Gargantoon's break-up from a 3x3 wild into nine single wilds included.
