NetEnt set Serengeti Kings on the African plains, where a lion and a panther take turns ruling a grid of 5 reels and 4 rows with 26 paylines. Each big cat holds the base game for 12 spins, collecting its own symbols, and then triggers its feature.
Game mechanics
Wins come from 26 fixed paylines across five reels of four rows, in a medium-high volatility game that pays up to 1,300x.
The base game switches between a lion mode and a panther mode every 12 spins. During a mode the matching big-cat symbols are collected; at the end of its 12 spins, collecting stops and that cat's feature triggers, placing the collected symbols on the reels at random positions.
A collected symbol that lands on the opposite cat turns it into a wild, while one that lands on a matching symbol raises the multiplier by 1x.
Features
- Lion and Panther Modes. Two modes take turns every 12 spins. Each one collects its own big-cat symbols, then triggers its feature and adds them to the reels at random positions.
- Symbol Conversion and Multipliers. When a collected symbol lands on the opposite type, that symbol becomes a wild; landing on a matching symbol instead raises the multiplier by 1x.
- Free Spins. Three or more scatters award 12 free spins. With three you start without collected symbols, four keep the ones already earned, and five add 5 extra lion and 5 extra panther symbols to the counters.
- Final Free Spin Combination. On the last spin of the bonus round, both sets of collected symbols are added onto the reels together.
How to play the free demo
- Follow the 12-spin counter in the Serengeti Kings demo and note which cat, lion or panther, is collecting at the moment.
- When a cat's 12 spins are up, see where the collected symbols land: on the opposite cat they make wilds, on a matching one they add 1x to the multiplier.
- If three or more scatters appear, check how many: three start the 12 free spins from zero, four carry your collected symbols over, and five add five more of each cat.
- On the last free spin, both sets of collected symbols go onto the reels at once.
Why try the Serengeti Kings demo
Serengeti Kings runs on a fixed rhythm, with the lion and the panther handing over every 12 spins, so a short demo session covers the whole cycle and both cat features. Each feature also shows the two things a collected symbol can do, depending on where it lands: make a wild or lift the multiplier.
